Community Chest

Launch of Kyneton and District Town Square Community Chest

The Kyneton Town Square Reference Group (KTSRG) has launched its Community Chest. It aims to attract pledges totaling a minimum of $150,000.                                                        Use this link to pledge online                                                 Community Chest Pledge

Hard copy pledge forms for the Community Chest can be obtained and lodged at the Kyneton branch of the Bendigo Bank or Collins Newsagency. The Community Chest will become the springboard to help the Town Square Coop realise a brave, inspired vision for a vibrant, community, cultural, and learning centre at the Old Kyneton Primary School Site. We are seeking pledges from the community to make this happen and bring the project to life. The Community Chest gives everyone an opportunity to have a stake in the project whether they pledge as little as ten dollars or as much as one hundred thousand dollars. Every pledge will help to make a reality of the  Kyneton Town Square as our place of belonging and connection.                                                                                                         At this stage KTSRG is not asking for money. The request is for a promise or pledge which will only be called on if the government decides to allow the Kyneton and district community to take control of the precinct. The KTSRG has produced a comprehensive project outline to create a financially viable operation which does not rely on government funding for its day to day outgoings.
