After many years as a self employed craftsman, I took a late career change, working for eleven years as a planner with Hepburn Shire before retiring two years ago.  I would be happy to contribute to the Co-op with my specialist knowledge of Statutory and Strategic Planning.I fully support the aims of the Co-op in developing both a vision and a practical community management model for the old Kyneton Primary School.  I have lived in Kyneton now for almost forty years.  In that time I have been involved with many community activities and projects, serving as president of both Langley Primary and Kyneton Secondary, a term on Macedon Ranges Council, and as president of the Heated Pool Committee.  Through all this I have been impressed with the strength and solidarity of our community, and what we can achieve when working together for a common goal.  The successful completion of the pool, the jewel in the crown of our sporting precinct, was a highlight.  It is my view that the old primary school site, if developed as in the Co-op’s vision, will form a worthy centrepiece for our community, contrasting with and complementing our sporting and education precincts
